June 4: Welch College Day - Welch College is the flagship school of higher education for Free Will Baptists. Located in Gallatin, TN, on their brand new campus, the mission of Welch College is to educate leaders to serve Christ, His Church, and His world through biblical thought and life. To accomplish their mission, Welch College emphasizes a distinctly Christian education with a strong core of biblical and theological studies at the heart of all educational programs, a Christian worldview integrating the entire curriculum, Christian morals and ethics, and Christian leadership and service. You will have opportunity to witness the impact Welch College is having on students and society. June 4-9: "There's No Place Like Home!" Vacation Bible School - Bring the entire family because it's that time again; time for Ashe County's most innovative and creative Vacation Bible School experience! Come get on the narrow road and let Uncle Henry, Dorothy, Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion show you from God’s Word how to get to a faraway land where no trouble exists. That's right. You'll not find this VBS anywhere else. Every night will be a new adventure. Sunday through Thursday, we'll begin at 7:00 p.m. sharp as we march down the Yellow Brick Road to our designated spots. We'll enjoy an opening skit by the Calvary Drama Team, learn our week's theme song, and then be dismissed for Bible classes, crafts, and music. We have classes for all ages from infant all the way through senior adult, and we will provide a full meal each night. Local van transportation can be provided each night if you call the church and simply ask. It will be tremendous fun for everyone, and there is no reason not to come! Services will be from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday with a commencement service and cookout on Friday night at 6:00 p.m.

June 11: Graduation Sunday - Join us as we honor all of our Class of 2017 graduates. Each will be recognized and presented with a gift, and Pastor Sonny will be preaching a special message to our graduates and their families.

June 18: Father's Day Celebration - Father's Day is great time to come together and appreciate the love and effort from our fathers, and what better place to start than in church on Father's Day morning?
