Aug. 29: Youth Sunday and Annual Church Picnic - Join us for a wonderful day of worship, praise, food, and fellowship. Sunday school will be under the direction of our youth and young adults, and the morning worship service will feature our children's choir and teen ministry. Following the service, we will head to Ashe Park in Jefferson, NC, for an afternoon picnic and many activities. Bring the entire family!
Aug. 30-Sept. 3: Revival Services at Peace Haven Baptist Church - Revival services will be held at Peace Haven Baptist Church of North Wilkesboro, NC, beginning on Sunday, August 29 through Friday, September 3 at 7:00 each evening. Pastor Sonny Thomas will be the guest evangelist. There will be special musical guests throughout the week. Make plans to attend this anointed week. Sept. 5: Camp Meeting Community Choir Practice and Joint Worship Service - Camp meeting choir practice will begin at 4:30 p.m. All are invited to participate. We will be joined by the choirs of Mountain View Baptist Church of Creston, NC, and Liberty Baptist Church of Lansing, NC. Following the practice, a joint worship service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Russell Sheets, Pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, as the guest speaker.
Sept. 12-17: 4th Annual "Preaching By the Parkway" Camp Meeting - Escape to one of the most picturesque and majestic areas of God's creation, the Blue Ridge Parkway, for a week of old-fashioned preaching, Spirit-filled singing, and old-time worship. We believe that this year's line-up of power-packed preachers and anointed singers is our best yet.
