Sunday School - “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” – 2 Timothy 2:15. It is our goal to provide the resources needed for our church family to learn the word of God in such a way that it not only becomes knowledge, but it impacts the way we live our daily lives. We currently use Randall House Publication’s CLEAR curriculum which allows our families to study the same topics each week while presenting the material in an age appropriate manner.
* Nursery (0-1 yr.) * Toddler (2-3 yr.) * Beginner (K4-1st Grade) * Primary (2nd – 5th Grade) * Junior High (6th – 8th Grade) * Senior High (9th – 12th Grade) * Young Adult * Adult 2 * Senior Adult
Worship Services – “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” – John 4:23. The strong point of emphasis in our church is the preaching ministry. Each service on Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night is directed toward the preaching of God's Word. We believe you and your family will be strengthened by the pulpit ministry of our church. Music Ministry:
Adult Choir - “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;” – Ephesians 5:19. Throughout the Bible, we find that music is a very important part of worshiping God. Our Choir offers opportunities to blend voices together in worship as well as opportunities for ministry through song. Teen & Children’s Choirs - “O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” – Psalms 95:1. The Bible leaves no doubt that God desires to hear our voices lifted up to Him in song. We desire for our children to participate in worship which allows them to join their voices in song. Not only does this give our children a chance to develop the talents God has given them, it is also a wonderful way for them to minister to the church as they share their special music with us.
Youth Group – “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6. With so much competing for the attention of our children today, we feel that it is vitally important to offer our children a Christ centered alternative. Our youth meet together on the first Sunday of every month, and our youth leaders are dedicated to providing an atmosphere in which our children can grow through Bible based teaching, hands on interaction, and relevant application to the world in which they live. Ladies Auxiliary - “For we are labourers together with God:” – 1 Corinthians 3:9. Our ladies auxiliary loves the Lord and is more than willing to put that love into action. They meet together on the first Monday of each month for a time of prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Throughout the year they work hard ministering to those who are hospitalized and to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
Transportation Ministry - “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” – Luke 14:23. It is our goal to provide a way for those without transportation to come under the teaching of the gospel by providing them with a way to get to church.
Radio Ministry – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” – Romans 10:17. In a world where so many are being overcome by the evil around us, it is critical that the message of the Gospel go out into the highways and the hedges. Our Sunday morning broadcast, “The Calvary Connection” airs every Sunday morning at 7:00 a.m. on 3WC Radio. CD Ministry – “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” – 1 Corinthians 1:18. All of our services are recorded and are available free of charge by request.
